ElaVizion is a family-owned and operated media company. We have 10 years combined of flying drones, editing videos, and creating content. The concept of ElaVizion started in 2020 and finally came to fruition in 2021. Originally starting in Billings, Montana, we have branched out to Bozeman, Montana, as well as the Salt Lake City valley.
The concept is derived from having one’s Vizion drive the process, as well as having it customized and tailored to their needs. Rather than having a basic project or product we provide a familiar, creative, personalized touch.

Layne Chelgren
Layne, originally, born and raised in Montana, is a drone pilot and photographer/videographer with 5 years of experience in the creative industry. Layne brings a background and experience in architecture to the table. He understands the creative process and feedback required from a client for a sound and solid product. No product is good or even great, without attention to detail or workability. That is exactly what he believes in, workability, creativity, and customization.
Layne’s goal and mission are to provide a product with the utmost integrity, creativity, and quality. As well as creating a relationship and environment that is friendly, fun, and exciting.
Layne has a deep passion for sports, architecture, and traveling. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, spending time in Montana with friends and family, and cheering on the Montana State University Bobcats.
D.C Chelgren
Courageous, outgoing, and hardworking are just some of the attributes D.C. strives to be. He represents his homegrown Montana roots. His engineering mentality represents his strive for perfection and provides the creative and out-of-the-box thinking that any task or project may require. The attention to detail is second to none.
D.C.’s goal is to bring his logistical mentality to the table, to be able to create a seamless and fun environment in the process.
DC’s love for sports and the great outdoors allows him to experience the greatness life has to offer. His jack-of-all-trades lifestyle shows that there isn’t much he can’t do. He is always looking to grow his skills and become better at life. Technology, music, cars, and video games fill his time in between being a Design Engineer full time. If he could, he would spend every day in the mountains on his snowmobile waist-deep, in fluffy powder
